The SanDisk Ultra 3D 500GB is an affordable 2.5-inch SATA SSD for replacing a slow laptop hard drive or adding a fast boot drive to a desktop. Over SATA III it reads at up to 560 MB/s and writes at up to 510 MB/s, so Windows starts and programs open noticeably quicker. nCache 2.0 helps maintain write speed, and the 500GB version is rated for 200TB written. It is 7 mm thick to fit standard 2.5-inch bays, and SanDisk’s free SSD Dashboard handles health checks, cloning and firmware alerts. A five year SanDisk limited warranty applies.
