The AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 7975WX is a 32-core, 64-thread workstation processor for the sTR5 platform, built for 3D rendering, simulation, video post-production and large software builds. It runs from a 4.0GHz base up to 5.3GHz, with 128MB of L3 cache and a 350W TDP. On WRX90 boards it uses eight channels of ECC registered DDR5, and PCIe 5.0 provides bandwidth for several GPUs and NVMe drives. AMD PRO technologies support managed business deployments. The WOF box has no cooler, so budget for a high-capacity sTR5 cooler.
