SteelSeries Arctis Nova 3 Wired – Overview
- Nova Acoustic System: Uses the same custom 40mm High Fidelity neodymium drivers as the Nova 1, with a 20–22,000 Hz response.
- USB-C digital audio: Plugs in over USB-C, with a USB-A extension cable included for PCs and consoles that only have USB-A ports.
- Analog backup: The included USB-C to 3.5mm cable lets it work from an Xbox controller or other 3.5mm jack (RGB and USB features are not available in analog mode).
- Dual-zone RGB: Customisable RGB lighting in 16.8 million colours via SteelSeries GG, with an on-ear illumination on/off switch.
- ClearCast Gen 2 mic: Fully retractable bidirectional noise-cancelling boom mic, with AI noise cancellation through Sonar on PC.
- 360° Spatial Audio: Compatible with Tempest 3D Audio on PS5 and Microsoft Spatial Sound.
- ComfortMAX System: 253 g headset with an elastic headband, 4 points of adjustment and fully rotating AirWeave memory foam earcups.

About the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 3 Wired
The wired SteelSeries Arctis Nova 3 (part number 61631) connects over USB-C for digital audio, which enables its dual-zone RGB lighting and Sonar’s parametric EQ on PC. Three cables come in the box: USB-C to USB-C, a USB-C to USB-A extension, and USB-C to 3.5mm for an Xbox controller or any other headphone jack (RGB and USB features are not available in 3.5mm mode). It uses the same 40mm Nova Acoustic System drivers and retractable ClearCast Gen 2 mic as the Nova 1, in a 253 g ComfortMAX frame. Not to be confused with the Arctis Nova 3 Wireless models.
